AI and systems, built around your people

Which task keeps getting left for later?

The enquiry to sort. The notes to turn into a quote. The answer buried in a manual. Start with the task and the tools you use. I help define a practical workflow, with a person checking the work.

On assessment, with no published price: admin workflows, set up in the tools you already pay for, scoped after a free consult or the Free Lead System Check. Custom AI builds, quoted in writing after a consult. Connecting the tools you already use, quoted in a separate written scope. A person approves customer-facing AI output.

AI & Workflow Integrations

Start with one useful task.

Connect an agreed task to the tools your team already uses. Each integration has its own written scope, price and acceptance checks. It is separate from the $2,490 Website & Enquiry Build; a care plan is optional.

AI helps with language: interpreting notes, preparing a draft or finding an answer in agreed documents. Rules handle agreed steps: moving fields, checking required details or passing a request to a supported tool. We agree which parts need either before building.

01Turn an enquiry into a job brief and draft reply

Illustrative example · synthetic data

Input
A sample enquiry: “The kitchen tap drips. Weekday mornings suit.”
AI step
Organise the request into a job brief and prepare a reply for checking. Missing details stay marked as missing.
Rules step
Put agreed fields into a review queue. Sending remains a separate, agreed step.
Approval
A person checks the brief and approves the customer-facing reply before it goes out.

Sample job brief

Task: dripping kitchen tap. Preferred time: weekday morning. Address and urgency: not provided.

Sample draft reply · awaiting approval

Thanks for your enquiry about the kitchen tap. Could you share the property address and let us know whether there is an active leak? We will check availability once we have those details.

02Turn approved job notes into a draft quote scope

Illustrative example · synthetic data

Input
Approved sample notes: “Replace kitchen mixer. Existing connections. Customer supplies tap.”
AI step
Prepare a draft scope or summary from the approved notes and format.
Output
A draft for review. Prices, site conditions and exclusions need a person to confirm them.
Approval
The person responsible for the quote checks the scope before it reaches a customer.
Show the fixed sample scope

Sample draft scope · awaiting review

Replace the kitchen mixer using the customer-supplied tap and existing connections. Confirm tap suitability, site conditions, price and exclusions before issuing a quote. No price has been calculated.

03Help staff find an answer in approved documents

Illustrative example · synthetic data

Input
A staff question: “What should I check before passing on a booking request?”
AI step
Find relevant information in the agreed documents and prepare an answer with sources.
Output
An answer with document references. If the documents do not support an answer, flag the gap for a person.
Check
Staff can open the source and check it before relying on the answer. Document access and updates are agreed in scope.

Sample answer

Confirm the address, the job type and the preferred time before passing the request to the person handling bookings.

Source: fictional “Booking handoff guide”, section 2. Sample source text: “Collect the address, job type and preferred time. The booking owner confirms availability.”

04Pass a booking request to an agreed tool

Illustrative example · synthetic data

Input
A reviewed request with the agreed contact, job and preferred-time fields.
Rules step
Check required fields and pass the request to an agreed supported booking tool. This handoff may need no AI.
Output
A request in the agreed destination, with missing details or handoff failures raised for review.
Approval
Availability and confirmation follow your agreed process. A handoff alone does not confirm a booking.

Job: kitchen tap. Preferred time: weekday morning. Destination: agreed booking queue. Booking status: unconfirmed. Nothing has been sent.

These are fixed local illustrations, not deployed products. Opening a sample sends nothing, uses no model and connects to no account. Your tools, data destinations, approval controls and failure handling would be agreed and tested in a separate scope.

Describe your task Explore the $2,490 website build

How it goes

From a brief to something you own.

  1. First, your brief

Free. You tell me what you want built and I write back with the awkward questions. If I am not the right person for it, I will say so.

  2. A written scope and a fixed quote

What it will do, what it will not do, and one fixed price. Nothing starts until you have read it and said yes.

  3. Built in your own accounts

You create and control the hosting, domain and any AI provider accounts. We agree the access I need for the build, then review that access at handover. Keep passwords and API keys out of this enquiry form.

  4. An acceptance test

We agree in writing what “finished” means before I start, then run that test together. If it does not pass, it is not finished, and I keep working.

  5. Handover: you own it

You receive the source files and a plain-English note on how it runs and how to change it. You keep control of your accounts. Third-party services and assets keep their own terms and licences; these are identified in the scope.

Before anything connects

Agree the data. Keep a person in control.

The scope names the inputs, providers and destination accounts before your business data is connected. Customer-facing AI output goes to a person for approval. Any fixed acknowledgement needs its own agreement, supported tools and a test before it is switched on.

Handover includes the agreed technical check results and responsibilities for access, provider bills and support. Account ownership does not determine where a provider stores data. Read the checks and handover detail.

Straight lines

What I won’t do.

  • Let AI send unchecked customer messages. A person approves customer-facing AI output. A fixed acknowledgement can send on its own only when separately agreed, supported by your tools and tested before it is switched on.
  • Promise results. No rankings, leads, sales or savings figures. I will tell you exactly what it does, not what it will earn you.
  • Lock you in. It runs in your accounts, not mine, so there is nothing of mine to switch off.
  • Take on something I cannot do well. If it is not a good fit, you hear that in my reply, before you have paid for anything.

Questions

Before you start.

What will it cost?

A website is $2,490, plus $149 a month for the Bronze care plan if you want it (optional, month to month, stop with 30 days' notice). A custom build is quoted in writing after I read your brief. You get one fixed price in writing before anything starts. AI and workflow integrations are quoted separately in writing from a one-page scope. A care plan is optional. Fixed price, nothing hourly. It lives in your accounts under your logins, and a person on your team signs off each deliverable at an acceptance test. The budget question in the form is only there so I can scope it properly.

Who owns it?

You receive the source files and handover note, and control the hosting, domain and any AI provider accounts in your business name. Third-party services, fonts and other licensed assets keep their own terms. The written scope identifies those licences, provider charges and account responsibilities. See handover and support details.

Where does my data go?

What you type in this form goes to my inbox. Netlify, which hosts this site, also stores it and runs a spam check (Akismet), and once we are talking it may be copied into my CRM. For a build, we agree which accounts and providers handle your business data before connecting them. The privacy policy has the detail, including how to have it deleted.

What happens after I send this?

I read it myself and reply on what you gave. If it is worth building, you get the written scope and a fixed quote.

Can we talk instead?

Send the form. If you would rather talk, add your number and I will reply by email first to set a time.

What task would you like to improve?

Describe it in your own words. I read it myself and reply by email with whether it is worth building, then a one-page scope and one fixed price in writing. Nothing hourly, nothing starts until you say yes. Three short parts, and nothing is sent until you press Send the brief at the end.
